Satin spar is a fibrous variety of gypsum, and those fine parallel fibres are what create its signature silky sheen. When polished into a sphere, the surface reflects light in a smooth, almost luminous way, giving it a gentle glow that shifts as you move around it.

The creamy white tones and subtle internal banding are completely natural, formed over time as mineral-rich water deposited layers of gypsum. The size of this piece makes those natural textures even more noticeable.
